my sister's baby:)

here's my favorite sister's little guy...just 7 days new:) i was hoping to be in the hospital when she had him to take a few pictures. however, the guy was being stubborn, and i had to get back home to get my daughter to new beginnings! sooo, my sister was so kind to make a trip up to my house to get some fun newborn shots! he is soooo cute, i can't stand it!

thanks again april for the amazing hat! i just love them all:) i should be getting some pictures of my kids up soon! january has been way busier than i ever imagined it would be.

congrats to luella:) what an exiting time it is for this family! there is definitely no shortage of arms in this family, to hold, love and cuddle this beautiful little one. enjoy every minute with her...they seem to grow up so fast on you!

just wanted to share a little something i made to highlight the year's good events...when i watch this it makes me cry! i can't believe how much my children have changed over the year.

new years day!

we had so much fun celebrating the new year! we started our day eating yummy waffles with a multitude of different toppings. the milnes make the waffles and the rest of us bring a different topping to share. this time we brought homemade blueberry syrup, and when combined with the yocum's buttermilk syrup... it is to die for:)
after a great breakfast, we headed to the park to ice block. the kids had soo much fun doing this. they did quite well. it wasn't until later i realized a really cute picture i wish i would have taken:(

after we changed out of somewhat wet clothes, we headed to rosa's and to the movies.

it was a great way to end the holiday!
i can't believe it is time to send them back to school, the vacation just went way too fast!

the christmas season!

wow! what crazy fun times we have been having! i tried to get a family shoot done for my own family, but as luck would have it, the day i scheduled our family it rained like crazy! i got a few pictures, enough to get a christmas card done anyway:)

as soon as chase finished his preschool program, we took off for utah for a few days!

we attended the jon schmidt concert. it was absolutely amazing! the kids loved it. after the concert we headed to temple square, and froze our poor california butts off! but the lights were amazing. it has been at least 13 years since matt and i have been to temple square in the winter:)

our last day in utah was spent tubing! this was the day before the storm, so it was so nice and warm. by the end of the tubing session the kids had removed all their jackets and hats!

officially in hiding...

i am officially in hiding! i have done lots of family shoots, and look forward to my newborn tomorrow. i hope to return to the real world after the nativity festival this weekend! so many fun and happy things going on, i just love this time of year. we are looking forward to our holiday break with some time in the snow:) i will hopefully be back next week...maybe! i will leave you with an all time funny pic. this is one of ian's bestest buddies! you can't help but laugh when he's around!

i can't believe they were willing to go out and get this wet....it was soooo cold. i went home with my back completely soaked. a wave came up on me from behind and nailed me...i told the family to bring an extra set of clothes. didn't think i would be needing them:)

thanksgiving

it was great to spend thanksgiving with family:) it was so sweet of my little pregnant 'sis to cook for all of us! she is 32 wks. pregnant and took on cooking her first thanksgiving meal. she did great!!! i really should of taken a picture of the thanksgiving pies...because that is what i enjoyed most, lol!

had to grab a shot of all my kids with my parents! i can't believe my dad turned 60 this year! you'd never guess that, huh?

i have been really busy lately with photography. i can't tell you just how much i have enjoyed spending time with your families. i so enjoy feeling and seeing the love and tender relationships that exist between the family members. it truly is a remarkable experience!
