this is one great kid! i guess he's not really a kid anymore, with college just around the corner. mr. t hangs out a lot in front of my house at the basketball hoop with the other boys. so we have got to know him quite well. he is great with the little kids, and most polite to the adults. what a pleasure it was to photograph him.

Aww... so sweet

photographing newborns is one of my faves! it is so fun, and yet very challenging. never know what you are going to get. i am always a little sad when i don't get the shot i am really after, but always surprised by one or two that i did get. anyway, this is a sweet 10 day new baby boy. he was pretty good for us, he just was pretty adamant about not wanting to cross his legs, lol!

brotherly love...

chase is definitely the biggest tease in our family. he also really likes to bug people too, especially ian. he has to be a part of whatever ian is doing. it is unreal to me just how patient ian is with him. i really think ian loves chase more than anybody else!

as you can see below, chase can't even let ian blow out his own birthday candles. ian just laughed, and gave chase a funny face! what love!

a day with my niece...

so, my sister came up for some fun today. she felt like it was time to take some more pictures of this cute little girl! getting pictures of an active 15 month old is not the easiest. the weather was great, i think we were around 80 degrees today. what does the groundhog have to say about that? anyway, here are a few pics of my very cute and sweet niece.

practice makes perfect

today, chase and i went to the park with some friends. my friend got a new nikon d60 for christmas and was asking for some help on how to use it. so i thought taking the kids to the park would be a great way to teach. unfortunately, i don't think that was the best way to start out! i am a canon girl, so i am not that familiar with the controls on a nikon. i think i need to spend a little more time with her camera, before we go out again. practice practice practice! anyway, here are a few pictures from today's outing.
