resurfacing....

ahhh, i think i am finally coming up for air! what a month it has been. i have spent the last week getting ready and doing the nativity festival. it was amazing for those of you unable to attend. i can not believe i did not take pictures. well, i guess i can. i was so busy doing everything for it, that photography was definitely on the back burner. but we did have over 4,000 people attend. i would have to say it was a success.
so, i thought i would post a few of my favorites from the season. it was great fun working with all these wonderful families and creating such fun holiday greeting cards.

i hope you are all enjoying this wonderful season. i am so grateful for all that i have, especially for my friends and family!

merry christmas drake and josh...

while driving home in the car....
lexie: oooh ian, did you toot (fart)?
ian: no!
lexie: ian, i know you did!
ian: i didn't, i even "christmas promise!"
a big thanks to drake and josh. for those of you unfamiliar with drake and josh, it is a show on nickelodeon that my kids love.
i just love this kid!

thanksgiving day...

Alec certainly has a lot to be thankful for. this go-cart definitly tops the list. i work hard all morning to get everything and everybody ready for thanksgiving dinner. i walk outside to get something, and this is what i find! these two boys must have gone through every mudd puddle they could find. alec couldn't have been happier.

the next two pictures are of the twins...how exhausting it must be to chase these little rug rats all day long! aren't they cute?

and lastley, a picture of all six of us. it has been a long time since all six of us have been together for a holiday.

hope you all enjoyed your thanksgiving with friends and families! i have been crazy busy editing pictures lately. hopefully, i can post some of my favorites soon!

a little family fun...

the kids had a couple of days off this week, so we headed up to disneyland for some family fun. who would of thought that veteran's day happens to be one of disneyland's busiest day of the year. so, we headed over to california adventure. it is usually less crowded over there, usually....

these last two pictures just make me smile! i love watching the interaction between the oldest and the youngest. alec is almost always willing to put up with chase's wild and crazy behavior. what love!

the long and winding road....

i just love that song. once upon a time i could name every album the beatles put out, as well as what songs were on it. not anymore....

i decided to head back down to fallbrook. i so love this boardwalk/bridge. of course, my son didn't want much to do with the camera, but that was okay. i had other kids who didn't mind, he he he! the lighting was a definite struggle, but i managed to pull off a few good shots.

anybody done christmas shopping yet????

this is halloween

this is halloween...
this is a marathon of pictures. i have three different halloween events below. the first is chase's preschool halloween program. i have concluded that halloween is not his favorite holiday. i think the 'scary' stuff scares him. he hardly sang with the other kids during the program. in fact, he stood there with his hands over his ears for most of it. go figure...

these are pictures from the serge's halloween party. the kids had a blast, despite the looks on ian's face. i have concluded that even though he almost always has a smile on his face, or some look of delight, i almost never 'catch it.' i think we would all agree that the serges' deserve a big round of applause for the success (and bravery) of this party. don't forget to notice how many kids there were in attendance!

and here are few shots from our disneyland trip, on halloween! we went up for about 5 hours. of course we had to make it back in time for trick or treating. i was preparing for the park to be much more crowded than it was. it actually was really great. i have almost no pictures of alec. he is too old to hang out with the family. he took off with his buddy parker...hopefully not in search of some cute girls, he he he!

my stinker boy! he is so not patiently waiting for his turn to go ride buzz lightyear! he is such a joy sometimes. and yes the shirt is on backwards. he almost always turns his shirts around. i am not sure if he does it to just try and bug me, or what!

hope you all had a terrific halloween!
